Neon Union Releases "Redneck Rich" From Their Upcoming EP 'Double Wide Castle Sessions'

Neon Union drops next single off of upcoming EP, Double Wide Castle Sessions; "Redneck Rich," available everywhere today!


Neon Union, Red Street Records’ climbing country duo, releases their latest song, “Redneck Rich,” available everywhere today alongside accompanying studio video (stream HERE, watch HERE). Following the band’s two Spring releases “American Dirt” (HERE) and “This Thing” (HERE), “Redneck Rich” marks the third track leading into the their upcoming EP, Double Wide Castle Sessions. Today’s release pairsa cool, upbeat twang with a deeper message of gratitude relatable to all music fans alike. “You don’t need to be rich to be redneck rich! It’s all about working hard, having fun and enjoying what you have as long as it makes you happy,” explains band members Leo Brooks and Andrew Millsaps.

Produced by GRAMMY-nominated, ACM and CMA winner Dann Huff and written by Brooks, Millsaps, Tim James, Aaron Benward and Danny Myrick, “Redneck Rich” offers listeners animportant message dripping with southern charm as it opens with,

“I ain’t Elon Musk / But I got a ¼ inch socket trying to make / A rocket out of this truck / Ain’t got a 40 foot yacht / But I got an old John boat / That’ll float to my honey hole spot / Got a little green talking ‘bout dollars / We all gettin loaded in the holler / I work hard for my money / Don’t owe a thing on a thing I own”
